Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)
At Breathe Better Clinic, under the guidance of Dr. Davindra Kundra, we focus on respiratory health and the evaluation and management of lung conditions, including Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). Our aim is to help patients understand their condition, receive appropriate medical guidance, and improve their respiratory health and quality of life.
Interstitial Lung Disease refers to a group of disorders that cause inflammation or scarring of the lung tissue, making it difficult for the lungs to transfer oxygen efficiently. Common symptoms include persistent dry cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, and reduced tolerance for physical activity. Some forms of ILD may be associated with autoimmune diseases, environmental exposures, certain medications, or unknown causes.
At Breathe Better Clinic, we emphasize careful assessment of respiratory symptoms, appropriate diagnostic investigations, and individualized care. Depending on the patient’s condition, evaluation may involve lung function tests, high-resolution CT (HRCT) scans, blood tests, and specialist referrals.
Our goal is to support timely diagnosis, symptom management, and ongoing monitoring to help patients maintain the best possible quality of life.
Experiencing persistent dry cough or unexplained breathlessness? Seek medical evaluation for timely assessment and appropriate care.
